Notice: This policy applies to all clients, partners, and users accessing our digital assets or engaging our services. Violation of this policy may result in immediate termination of services and legal action.

1. Purpose and Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) outlines the prohibited uses of the services provided by Mtengwa Strategic Advisory and its technical arm, BuruOps Intelligence. This ensures the integrity, security, and reliability of our operations and protects our firm and our clients from legal liability.

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not use our services, tools, or advice for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose. Specifically, you agree not to:

  • Illegal Acts: Use our services to violate any applicable laws or regulations in the UK or your jurisdiction (e.g., Computer Misuse Act 1990).
  • Unauthorized Access: Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, networks, or other client data ("hacking").
  • Malicious Use: Use our security tools or penetration testing reports to launch attacks against third parties without authorization.
  • Harmful Content: Transmit any data that contains viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
  • IP Theft: Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy our proprietary software, methodologies, or intellectual property.

3. Security Tools & Ethical Hacking

Services provided by BuruOps Intelligence often involve the use of offensive security tools for defensive purposes (e.g., penetration testing). Clients engaging these services must:

  • Provide explicit written authorization for all targets to be tested.
  • Own the infrastructure being tested or have written consent from the owner.
  • Acknowledge that security testing carries inherent risks of service disruption.

Any use of our tools or reports to attack unauthorized targets is strictly prohibited and will be reported to relevant authorities.

4. Data Integrity & Privacy

You agree to protect the confidentiality of any sensitive data or reports provided by us. You must not:

  • Share confidential vulnerability reports with unauthorized third parties.
  • Use our services to collect or harvest personal information from others without consent.

  • Suspend or terminate your access to our services immediately.
  • Remove any offending content or data.
  • Report your activities to law enforcement agencies if required by law.

6. Disclaimer of Liability
