Modern Slavery Statement
Our commitment to ethical practices and zero tolerance for modern slavery in our operations and supply chain.
Financial Year: 2026
1. Introduction
Mtengwa Strategic Advisory is committed to preventing acts of modern slavery and human trafficking from occurring within our business and supply chain. We impose the same high standards on our suppliers, contractors, and other business partners.
Although we are not currently required by law to publish a statement under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 due to our turnover size, we do so voluntarily to demonstrate our commitment to ethical business conduct.
2. Structure and Business
Mtengwa Strategic Advisory is a technology consultancy based in the UK, providing strategic advisory and technical services. Our operations are primarily office-based and involve the provision of professional services.
3. Policies
As part of our commitment to combating modern slavery, we have implemented the following policies:
- Code of Conduct: We outline the behavior expected of our employees and suppliers, emphasizing ethical practices.
- Whistleblowing Policy: We encourage all employees, customers, and other business partners to report any concerns related to the direct activities, or the supply chains of, our organization.
- Recruitment Policy: We operate a robust recruitment policy, including conducting eligibility to work in the UK checks for all employees to safeguard against human trafficking or individuals being forced to work against their will.
4. Supply Chain Due Diligence
Given the nature of our business, our supply chain is relatively short and low risk, consisting mainly of software providers, cloud infrastructure services, and professional services. However, we remain vigilant and:
- Expect all suppliers to have suitable anti-slavery and human trafficking policies and processes.
- Ideally engage with suppliers who can demonstrate compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
5. Training
To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we provide training to our staff as needed.
