Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement

Statement made pursuant to Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 for the financial year ending 2026, setting out our zero-tolerance stance and supply chain verification controls.

Financial Year 2026 • Published: January 2026 • Jurisdiction: England & Wales
[01] ORGANISATIONAL COMMITMENT

1. Firm Structure & Zero-Tolerance Stance

Mtengwa Strategic Advisory is an executive technology, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture advisory firm. As a provider of professional knowledge services, our direct workforce comprises highly qualified advisory professionals and accredited technical leaders.

We operate with absolute zero tolerance for modern slavery, forced labour, bonded servitude, or human trafficking across our direct operations, client engagements, and global procurement supply chain.

[02] SUPPLY CHAIN RISK

2. Supply Chain Risk Analysis & Categorization

While our direct professional services represent an inherently low risk of modern slavery, we recognize that technological supply chains—particularly hardware fabrication and electronic components—carry higher global vulnerabilities. We categorize and audit our supply chain as follows:

Supply Tier Typical Vendors Risk Rating Due Diligence Controls
Cloud & Telecommunications Hyperscale cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), UK tier-1 telecom carriers. Low Annual audit of published Modern Slavery statements and ESG disclosures.
Hardware & Devices Investigative workstations, Apple enterprise silicon, YubiKey hardware tokens. Medium Procurement strictly through certified Tier-1 distributors adhering to Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) codes.
Professional Services & Counsel External legal counsels (Abba Zanzibar Attorneys), forensic accountants. Negligible Direct contractual warranty incorporating Modern Slavery Act 2015 adherence.
[03] DUE DILIGENCE

3. Due Diligence & Contractual Warranties

To mitigate modern slavery risks throughout our operations, we execute the following preventative workflows:

  • Contractual Compliance Clauses: We mandate anti-slavery compliance warranties in all supplier and subcontractor master agreements.
  • Fair Compensation: We ensure all staff and contractors receive compensation well above the UK Living Wage standard.
  • Right-to-Work Verification: Complete identity and right-to-work verification is conducted prior to onboarded engagements.
  • Whistleblower Access: All personnel and third-party contractors possess unhindered access to our confidential whistleblowing desk without fear of reprisal.
[04] EXECUTIVE SIGN-OFF

4. Board Approval & Principal Sign-Off
